This is such a versatile puree recipe. Once your baby is past the smooth puree stage, you can easily make this peas, broccoli and potato puree thick and chunky for the next stage of baby food.
- 40g onion, peeled and chopped
- 15g butter
- 250g potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 375ml unsalted vegetable stock or water
- 50g broccoli florets
- 50g frozen peas
Saute the onion in the butter until softened but not coloured (about 5min).
Add the potato, pour over the stock or water. Cover and bring to the boil. Cook for 10min or until potatoes are cooked.
Add the broccoli florets and cook for 3min.
Then add the peas and cook for another further 3mins.
Puree in blender and fill your Kai Carrier.
