Quinoa is a super food containing lots of nutrients including protein, calcium, magnesium and iron.
3 tbsp. quinoa
1 cup homemade stock or water
½ cup prepared veggies (grated carrot or pumpkin, broccoli or silver beet)
Handful of cooked chicken
Put quinoa, stock and veggies into a small saucepan and cook until quinoa thick and veggies are tender. Chop the chicken finely and add to the quinoa mix. Combine and bring to the boil. Add more water if needed to adjust the consistency.
Puree in a blender or with a stick blender. Fill your Kai Carrier.
This meal can be frozen in Kai Carrier for later.
